PGEO Group is wholly owned by Wilmar International Limited, a leading agribusiness group in Asia and one of the largest globally. Wilmar has over 500 manufacturing plants and extensive distribution network covering China, India, Indonesia and some 50 other countries and regions.
PGEO Group's main activity is the manufacturing of edible oils in Malaysia. Its activities are vertically integrated, beginning with the processing of edible oils into refined oils and other value-added downstream products to the marketing of these products in bulk, steel drums and consumer packs for the local and international markets. It has one of the largest refining capacities in Malaysia with over 10 refineries located in Peninsular and East Malaysia. In fact, it refines more than 30% of Malaysia's total crude palm oil annually and is one of the major palm kernel crushers in Malaysia. Every year, PGEO Group refines more than five million metric tonnes of edible oils, of which about 90% are exported worldwide. |
